The video below is a PSA created with the purpose of informing the public about the new composting program offered by the Department of Sanitation.
I chose to use a fun and informative way using animation and voiceover to relay the message that composting food scraps is available and easy to use, and a larger audience can be reached due to it’s playful tone and fun characters.
2. Instagram post
I chose the “Beat the Heat” NYCEM program mainly because we are still dealing with the heat that has been with us almost all summer.
Once again using a fun tone to relay an important message, I hope my “Beat the heat” instagram post informs New Yorkers about the high temperatures effects on us as well as our pets.
